l170KYf.png WIP -- Lauren is a plague ambassador sent to the Cloudsong to create trade and alliances with her clan back in (don't know yet, but this will be a large, well-established clan). Many clans have agreed to terms, but Karri wants nothing to do with it. This frustrates Lauren and she is at present attempting to get closer to the uninterested wind Ambassador. Kinda like a game for her. Enjoys pestering Karri. Equally matched. plague_3.png

"I do not know why you continue to resist, Ambassador?" Lauren's one-sided smile grows as she watches the irritated Karri putter about her office throwing paperwork here and there. Karri says nothing in response. "Your pigheadedness only makes me more persistent--

Karri cuts through her snide remark with a well-timed slamming of a book to her desk. The Skydancer's narrow eyes settle on Lauren and with an icy tone she remarks: "And your persistence only makes me stronger, Ambassador?"

Lauren's goading grin falters at the slice Karri's words leave. Her lips do not stay flat for long, however. A quick moment later her sly grin is back in force. "Good," is all she returns. No sooner do the words leave her lips than she stands and slowly leaves the office.
