  • traditional alchemist, uses memories of important events in order to initiate equivalent exchange.
  • has lived for a few hundred years & has become frustrated by the state of the world—dragons don't care for each other, they do not cherish the fact they are alive, too many dragons are born just to enter the ranks of the exalted.
  • originally started as a regular alchemist, took joy in crafting whatever people needed from him.
  • another clan made it's home across the hills from his village, eventually growing very large as they sent the Windsinger many exalts.
  • this meant less trade & less food around—zhi yun was frequently visited by starving families.
  • turned to equivalent exchange in order to try and help everyone—played with blood magic but eventually decided that sacrificing memories of important events left less of a paper trail.
  • originally talked into looking for pavo because he needed more fuel for his alchemy. stayed with isiah as he thinks it's disgusting the god's turn a blind eye to the suffering they cause by rewarding war-hungry, consumer clans.
