"If you need someone poisoned, you've come to the right place! We have darts, powders, potions, and DIY kits, and if the price is right, we'll take care of that nasty blemish in your life for you! If you're an authority, none of what I just said is true, I swear."
A day in the life- Sass isn't necessarily evil, she's just doing what has to be done. Filling a niche. It's the people who come to her who are the bad, shady, evil ones.
In her late 20s to early 30s. Very tall and very thin, almost alarmingly so. She has pale skin from being inside so much and narrow blue eyes. Her hair is cropped short and a peculiar shade of yellowish green (tinted by her constant exposure to potent fumes). Many black market merchants like to dress in darker tones as a representation of their professions, but Sass much prefers bright, jewel-tone aquas and greens. She fastens her silks with bronze jewelry and perpetually wears a pair of dark blue gloves to protect her hands. Sometimes she tries to protect her hair with a hood, and she wears the hood and a dark blue cloak when she leaves the black marketplace. Sass runs a poisons/potions shop, and there’s nothing she won’t craft. A gifted alchemist, she enjoys creating tricky, intricate potions for taboo practices like reanimation of the dead, though her success and money comes mostly from her standard killing poisons and memory altering potions. Sass is very trustworthy and has never exposed a client. Because of this, she’s often seen as a good middleman for illegal transactions (passing along stolen artifacts, say). She’s also very talkative and social, and she’s adept at getting information from people without them realizing it. Sass was raised by her single mother, who also crafted poisons and sold them on the black market. Her mother raised her in the shop, so Sass became familiar with alchemy and revealed her prowess very early. They had a loving relationship until the mother died when Sass was barely sixteen. Sass then took over the shop and expanded it to create potions.
