In the Time of Ancients,

What we know as ancient dragon breeds formed under the watch of the Primals.

Each found their place and split the new world into territories creating tribes amongst themselves. Many pledging servitude and worship to the Primals.

However one tribe, the Banescale; grew jealous of the Primal's power and sought to destroy them.

The most cunning rose to Warlords hellbent on acclimating enough power to challenge the Primal Gods.

A young prophet and scribe with golden scales saw the Primal's visions and warned them that this path would lead to their fall.

But alas he was shunned due to his weakness.

And so Banescale's ambition drove their Warlords to civil war and to slaughter.

The Banescales, due to their hubris and paranoia almost wiped themselves out from the world.

The prophet, the only one alive amidst the carnage.

The Primals blessed the prophet and named him Hieronymus, gifting him immortality and divine fire to reshape the Banescales.

From the ashes of a broken world, bloodied by his ancestors, the Golden Genesis rose out of blood and fire to meet a new peaceful dawn on his kind.

Now the harbinger of a new dynasty, an new age of Banescale peace and prosperity can begin.
