Vera is the second daughter of Reznin and Khaalida of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. An exuberant and flashy young Pearlcatcher, she always loved things that glittered, shone, or dazzled the eye, especially if it was clothing or accessories. She even had a tendency of raiding her home clan's apparel hoard and playing dress up as a hatchling, imagining what it'd be like to wear the best pieces to parties.

One day Vera decided that she would become a fashion designer, not only making clothing for dragons, but also establishing what would become trends and giving incompetently dressed dragons advice on what they should be wearing instead. So far her advice has only a small reach in her home clan, but one day she hopes to travel to a clan who will appreciate the advice she gives. Or better yet, she'll arrive to a clan in real need of her services, and make them more stylish overall.

Vera and Zawiesina’s children think rainy, foggy days are the perfect weather, and are disproportionately proud of the strange slime that coats their scales and never quite dries. They are candid and honest dragons. They’re outspoken, never shying away from voicing their true thoughts on a matter—and they have quite a lot of thoughts on pretty much every matter! Especially fashion, much to the chagrin of dragons who do not share their love of glittery and shiny apparel. They don’t mind though. They’re happy to spend their free time stitching together sparkly new creations for their favourite clanmates, even if these swamp-loving dragons rarely seem inclined to put on any apparel themselves!
