Whiteout

Entry One
Whiteout is not exactly the clan's most loved member. But, as a skydancer, he is valued greatly for his ability to sense lies and negative energies, and he knows it. While Whiteout is considered an arrogant dragon by many, Blackary sees a great deal of good in him. Always having been self-conscious of himself, Whiteout feels the need to be defensive and confident in his actions. He doesn't actually know why other dragons don't like him- well, it's more that he can't accept it. But the fact that Blackary loves him for who he is and not the dragon he tries to be sometimes confuses him. He loves her deeply, which surprises everyone else daily, and is often seen shopping for gifts for his mate and future hatchlings. Whiteout gifts her with only the most exquisite items, as only they are fit for such an amazing dragoness.

Entry Two
To say fatherhood was a surprise would be an understatement. Not that he wasn't planning for it, but rather because of how difficult it actually was. At first, he was reluctant to have needy, pesty little hatchlings running around causing havoc, but the second their eldest, Meiriona, opened her eyes for the first time, he was completely in love. Sadly, their third egg did not hatch.
Although he's made some mistakes, Whiteout is determined to be the father he never had for his hatchlings. He's learned from Blackary that he doesn't need to buy their love, but rather earn it with lots of effort and patience. So far, he's doing quite well.

Entry Three
Ever since Meiriona went to serve the Icewarden, Whiteout hasn't been his usual self. He misses his daughter dearly, and can't stand walking by her old room every day and seeing an empty space. Unfortunately, what he doesn't realize is that he's pulling farther and farther away from his remaining family, Blackary and Lucius, their son. Who knew that parenting would be so difficult?
