The eggs shake and XYY checks them over, careful eyes scanning for imperfections or scars, but the eggs are healthy and she smiles as they hatch one by one.
The last one to hatch isn't the smallest or the biggest, she simply is in the middle like her other middle sibling. She looks around with large eyes, blinking slowly.
Xot flutters around the hatchlings, chirping in excitement, forgetting how to use words, and the hatchling chirps in response.
Exspiravit smiles and lifts the last hatchling from the nest, XYY smiling as her familiar checks the other eggs.
"You have a lovely clutch." She says softly, holding her pearl in her back claw, "The Plaguemother has blessed you both."
"And your keen eyes have kept them safe." Exspiravit speaks just as softly, the bones on her wings clink softly as she places the hatchling on the ground.
"Do they have homes yet?"
"Yes, someone is interested in raising this one in particular, she will be well loved." The hatchling looks up at her happily, chirping softly, "I know she will."
