Like his mate Rhodonite, Rhodoschrosite has the peculiar habit of eating and metabolizing various minerals and crystals. Unlike his mate the minerals manifest on his underbelly, hide and throat, forming a rather inconvenient but sturdy armor of crystallized enamel that's constantly shimmering and crusting. The minerals also give his hide the appearance of a rosy nebula and star clusters. It swirls through a thin sublayer of skin that is fluid and glassy in appearance.
