(NAME) hatched out of her shell, eager to face the world. She could hear her brother as she pipped through her shell talk in amazment about the towering trees to big for a newborn hatchling to comprehend, at the beauty of the various shades of red across the scarred plauge lands where they were born. She pipped the rest of the way through with enough force to throw her out of the rest of the shell and plop onto the ground face down, all she saw in the scorced earth of a traditonal plauge nest was black. She flipped on her back and looked up at a sky she knew to be "blue" and "windy today", acorrding to her parents. But all she saw was black.

A blind hatchling would find it difficult to navigate the world alone. And so her brother, who could see, stepped up and became her guide. To explain what the world looked like, to protect her from danger. And when they were sold at auction, she and he sat side by side in the same cage, until her brother was chosen without her. He screeched at an entity that she could not see "PLEASE TAKE US BOTH, OR JUST HER, JUST LOOK AFTER HER, IT DOESN[T MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TO ME!". The creature was moved, and explained it tended to grab siblings together anyway, and the two of them along with a third were left at their new den. Their next adventure awaited.

The three of them were picked up and brought inside a den, up a set of stairs "carved outta the cave wall its really cool" her brother said, and into a warm room. She could feel fire magic in this room, making a warm and secure place for young hatchings or the sick or injured. It was there a fae dragon said "twinsies" about her eyes, faceted like hers. "I will have to take your word for it as i cannot see." she said. The three of them were fed and slept. She was awoken to the feeling of several kinds of magic in the small warm room. "We can use our combined magic to fix your eyes," a small but powerful voice said excitedly. She was speechless. "You can do that?" Her brother said. "Of course if you have changed your mind i will continue to guide you..." "I'll do it." She had always, always wanted to see the world the way her brother did, for one reason above all others. They did their magic and several dragons of different species and magics appeared before her. She spun around until she saw her brother, who came right up to her face "did it work?" "Yes it did." After looking deeply at her brother for the first time, she looked around the room. She had always thought clamshells were a lighter shade of blue then the ones they had just eaten, although she hadn't seen blue until now. The cavern was bigger then she thought (HAVE ANOTHER CHARACTER CALL IT BIGGER ON THE INSIDE) it was. Fire was orange and red, and two lines of it went around the walls of this part of the cave, heating it. She turned to her brother, they were both grinning. "I cannot wait to show you the world as well brother, to make sure I tell you of everything you miss so that you don't miss anything." "And we will always be together." "Always."
