ELDRITCH
BUDDING ALCHEMIST SHE/HER, HOMOSEXUAL  The beloved jewel of Doc and Misfortune's lives, Eldritch was the well-cared for, if not a bit spoiled, apprentice alchemist to her mother. Despite being a grown dragon now, she still remains a bit childish and is often prone to outbursts when she doesn't get her way. Despite that, there is a kind and curious soul within her and she is driven by an intense desire to be accepted by the other dragons her age and be able to say she has many friends. Between following in her father or mother's footsteps, Eldritch drifted closer to alchemy, and like her mother, has a keen nose for alchemical ingredients. Her ultimate goal is to one day transmute something into solid gold--which her mother says is a "strange but ambitious goal". She is a strong saleswoman at her mother's apothecary and is exceedingly good at talking up customers. Her and Opal are both dragons who believe in being "ladylike" and refined, deciding that living as Plague dragons won't stop them from having proper manners and ways of dress. Though Eldritch can be a bit... pushy about this, as she is with most of her ideals. |
With much curiosity in her heart, Eldritch is fascinated by the strange and unknown, and wants to make many discoveries. Since she is forbidden to leave the Scarred Wasteland, she spends her time in the graveyard pestering Masque, who she considers a very mysterious dragon. After months of refusing to leave her alone and finally achieving her attention, the two grew to be surprisingly fast friends for the amount Masque was irritated by her. They have begun a shy, but still loving partnership sharing their love of the strange, and Eldritch's childish attitude has finally been somewhat curbed by Masque's sensibilities. The two had their lives changed forever when the clan blundered into an unhatched Wind Egg, which hatched into a tiny Mirror baby. Eldritch was the first to volunteer herself and her mate to take care of the newborn, officially giving the two their very own daughter, Apira. Apira has become somewhat troublesome as a teenager now with her wild attitude that Eldritch is trying to tame down and teach her to be more "ladylike".
