There is music in the air, sung by a choir of women unseen. The words are too fast to make out, but it's upbeat and swing-inspired and calming to a degree that should be concerning. The air seems to freeze in place, and then out of a swirl of snowflakes Borealis appears.

The entity known as Borealis aka 0122, was first sighted during an unnaturally dangerous blizzard in Wickerfrost Village. Head Overseer Jovial and Apprentice Overseer Oath were dispatched to check out the disturbance, fears of a fight between the Seasonal Council of Wickerfrost being the main reason for such concern.

Upon arrival, they found not a fight between powerful mages but a deeply dangerous individual, hidden from all by his parents Silent and Quiet; until now, of course. According to accounts later gotten from the citizens of Wickerfrost, Borealis had wandered into town alone against his parents' wishes and upon seeing the shock of the civilians, Borealis flew into a blind rage.

Jovial wanted to retreat and call for backup, but Oath saw something Jovial didn't; later, he described seeing only a beautiful, serene ice sculpture at the center of the blizzard, so he pushed through the gales of icy wind and snow to reach it. Oath wanted to destroy it and stop the blizzard, even despite his mentor's commands for him to retreat.

In the heart of the blizzard, where the wind whipped so violently no sound could be heard except the screaming of the gale, Borealis and Oath observed each other unburdened by hallucination; nobody is sure why Borealis stopped his tantrum, and let Oath apprehend him, but the fae was caught nonetheless and brought back to Sleetstorm.

The magical cryostasis doesn't work on Borealis, so he is relegated to the lowest depths of the Hydra Level and monitored closely. He doesn't try to escape, and when prompted he says he likes the dedication of the guards and has never felt so wanted in his life.
