Walking through the Whispering Woods is always an adventure of some sort. Not only is the small wood a beautiful area filled with wildlife and the random dragons that make their home there... but there is always the whispering.

During the day it can be passed off - if you'd rather - as the rustling of leaves or the movement of animals; but during the night, you cannot avoid hearing the actual words in the voices around you. If you're lucky, the voice you are hearing is that of Jewelwraith.

Jewel is exactly as you'd expect her name to indicate. Appearing out of the moonlight, which shines right through her, the wraith has been here as long as anyone can remember... even the founders of the clan. The skydancer is a ghost of a dragon from long ago who, for some reason, never moved on. No one in the lair can get a straight answer out of her about how she died or why she stayed.

Sometimes newcomers can be startled by this wraith in the Woods, but Jewel is a friendly creature. She does like to speak with anyone who will actually stay instead of running. She will converse about anything except her origin and demise; otherwise, she is actually well-versed in many topics from countless friends she's made and lost over the years.
