The one who is strong, who finds growth in the hurt, preventing the cycle’s usurp. But then, so to say, one day – fury found a way. Doesn’t it always? To expect it, to embody it; one must stay composed, stay alive, stay together – for the ones who need it, even if they are few – unless, so it goes, we are the ones who need it. And then, so to say, some day – the pain found a way. Doesn’t it always? To take, to replace; sorrow is merely a reminder of what one once had, because if it meant nothing, there would be nothing to feel when it’s gone. So then, so to say, that day – the soul found a way. Doesn’t it always? To care for others, to be cared for; really, after all this time, it’s one and the same. To have what goes around come around, and finally be given what’s deserved. To be one with those that are lost, yet to continue on, where they cannot. To become the thing one swore to protect, and preserve all the little things – the little ones. To keep their memories alight, even when you, yourself, have all but forgotten. Those days, one day, some day, that day – today, every day – through it all, life finds a way. Doesn’t it always?
