Verdant

A lover of plants in an icy landscape, Verdant is the reason the clan has a garden. A talented botanist and horticulturist, Verdant is the most powerful nature magic dragon in the clan, and is thus a member of the elemental leaders. He created the garden, and helps Lapis run it, with Azuralis's help. Verdant is the only dragon in the clan who knows more about plants than Lapis, and spends much of his time crossbreeding and experimenting with flora both to aid the clan and for his own curious interests. He's able to protect the garden from the icy surroundings in ways that Lapis and the other non-nature dragons cannot, though the fire dragons of the clan lend some help in keeping the garden area warm. Verdant has a side interest in weaponising plants to aid in the case of attack on the lair, but it rarely comes up. He's prepared, just in case. Verdant is never seen without at least some flowers on him.

Verdant uses a Spirit of Nature named Amogayvhi as his familiar, and consults with Amogayvhi regarding nature magic. Amogayvhi helps Verdant work on the garden and bioengineer plants, often going out to collect cuttings for him. Amogayvhi is always present when Verdant is talking with other elemental leaders in the clan.
