- Contact is raptorik warrior Terek, who reports to leader Hakel.
Taken in by Adecia as an adolescent whose previous fostering offers by more prominent clans had fallen through, Arvensis' plans to apprentice himself to a great warrior never came to fruition. However, if this ever disappointed him he never showed it, and speaking to Claret and other members of the Reach instilled in him a deep respect for the consequences of resorting to anger and violence as a first or even second option.
While he was always blunt, a little arrogant, and remained too impulsive to serve as a true diplomat, the Reach was the only place to accept him exactly as he was; and the very qualities that made him a poor warrior and a poor inter-clan envoy endeared him to certain Talonok warriors. A forthright person himself, Arvensis saw no reason to take their wary liking at anything but face value, and while he and the Talonok have never precisely been friends, they trust his honesty and honor and welcome him however cautiously to trade goods and information with their flock.
