Denali

Denali came to the clan after leaving his last lair. At first, he had a difficult time getting along with those already in the lair. A short time later, Isi a gaoler showed up in the lair. They were both still hatchlings. Despite Isi being a gaoler and a lesser breed than a pearl catcher, Denali immediately bonded with them. They are responsible for all sorts of shenanigans around the lair. Eventually, Dahlia joined the clan with the intent of becoming Isi's mate when they were of age to breed. Isis was immediately smitten but Denali took some time to warm up to her. Once Dahlia started joining in on their pranks though, Denali grew closer to Dahlia and he now considers her a younger sister, although he would never admit it. Denali is fiercely protective of Dahlia. He is impartial to most of the rest of his pod although Ethra, another pearlcatcher tried to convince him to stop hanging out with a "lesser species" when she first arrived at the clan. Although she no longer thinks this way, Denali prefers to avoid Ethra for this reason. Isi, Dahlia, and Denali all like to participate in coliseum battles together and they work well as a team. When Dahlia and Isi were due to have hatchlings soon, he had no interest himself in finding a mate. However, when Isi and Dahlia were on maternity leave from coliseum fights, a new fae dragon showed up at the clan for the team. At first, he ignored her but gradually became secretly smitten with her as he watched her defeat foe after foe. On their way back to the lair he asked her to move next to him. Later that day she asked him on a proper date saying that he wasn't a subtle as he thought he was. He agreed and Isi and Dahlia tease him for falling for Annarn so easily. Annarn completely loves Denali and Denali is head over heels for her. She curls up next to Denali in their shared lair and everyone admires how much Denali loves his little fae girlfriend. they are the cutest couple in the clan and Denali is known for being affectionate only to Annarn.
