Recently, the few inhabitants of the lowest levels of the Chasm have begun hearing odd noises from deep below the earth, especially at night. Groans like huge pieces of metal bending, the earth itself shifting, and, rarely, what sounds like the muffled screaming of something not draconic - but from something way too huge to be anything else, anything smaller. The sparsity of the noises plus the solitary and rather sneaky nature of the lowest dragons has made them hesitate going to clan leader Epsilon to discuss them, but they've been brought up in small groups the odd time these lower dragons meet each other, to absolutely no fruitful end. They still discuss them however, as the noises have become too viscerally unsettling and upsetting to ignore.

Even more recently, the earth closer to these dragons has begun moving. Just little bits, the floor of their lairs begins to subtly vibrate with the strongest noises, just enough to be picked up by un-clothed feet, and occasionally the odd loose rock in their walls will fall to the ground as these groans reverberate - even more so through the psyche of the unsettled residents than the earth around them.

While the rest of the Chasm is kind of amusedly clueless, the outskirts residents are beginning to suspect that Earth Ambassador Cavern either is bringing something upon us, or they know what he is trying to reach.
