The large and imposing ridgeback ambassador to the Lightning Flight is just that, Imposing and Loud. Iolite is a proud, cocky dragon who believes he can do no wrong. That and that his original flight was the best of the best, towering over the other flights by far in sheer might and power. Iolite's rather unapproachable nature has ultimately made the purple ridgeback no friends in the end. Quite the contrary, most of the clan tolerates the boastful male, and would not go out of their way to interact with him. Which is fine by Iolite! Totally! Its not as if he needs them anyway! He'd much prefer to remain by himself, tinkering away in his lab, laughing maniacally as lightning flashed dramatically behind him...even with his daughter no longer wanting to interact with her proud father.... Okay...so maybe he does deeply want for a friend. And perhaps, he has found one in the form of the plague flight's ambassador, as well as the....strange....many eyed...seer of the clan. The strange seer, despite Iolite's protest has seemingly begun frequenting the ridgeback's impromptu lab quite often, if only to..."make sure he didn't feel isolated from everyone"...Weirdo.
