I'm a sucker for Glimmer ...

His father tried to shame him for his bright belly, calling it unseemly. Flarequeth refused to "tone down" or hide his coloring - and was driven out for his defiance. So he traveled, alone. Well, apart from dragonkind, that is. He collected several "other" companions as he wandered, both living and ... strange. He embraced them all! He had learned that it takes all kinds to get on well in the world. And of the dragons he met, many were as colorful as he, and there was no shame in it. He was glad he hadn't bowed to pressure to fit the look his father deemed appropriate; if he'd stayed at home, he'd have missed so much! Not least being lands where there was some natural heat!
