Azrael was born an angel, one that had a job. Her job was to take the dead to the afterlife, she would know whether it was Heaven or Hell. Their souls glow different colored based on where they go, white-grey means heaven, dark grey-black meant Hell. The only issue was she stopped behaving, instead of taking them where they belonged she would try to take them other places and act as if she knew what was right. This was not the only issue she had made, Azrael had become obsessed with humanity. She wanted to be one of them, she wanted it so bad that she began following humans around and trying to fit in. This was obviously not her job, and as she did so she neglected her job. This caused God, her father to become very angry. So he did what he thought was necessary and made her fall. She became one of the humans she longed to be, but not quite. Her eyes caught on fire and became a yellowy color. This was to mark that she was not normal, and definitely not natural. While she was still immortal, she did not fit in well with the other dragons.
