STARKINDLER

LORD | SORCERER | ASTROLOGIST
Starkindler is the official leader of the clan, yet plays such a little role in the political world that this fact is overlooked. Instead, he enjoys studying and perfecting the magical arts. He's noted as a bit of a recluse for this fact. He comes out of his tower less and less as time goes on - leading some dragons to believe something is wrong with the sorcerer.

Backstory
The lord was born into the clan a year after it was established. His parents were nobles that had recently fled their own domains to be with one another. Being from both the Southern Icefield and Ashfall waiste; they were both tough and had high expectations of their children. A lot of his siblings went to serve the Shadowbinder or other dieties, but he was more interested in pursuing the arcane. His parents often frowned upon this. However, as he grew it was clear he had talent in the subject. Other dragons in the clan became aware of his abilities; frequently asking for displays. He was well-liked for his respect, intelligence, and kindness as well. It made his wedding with Luna baffling. Luna was cunning and cold - she often made dragons turn their heads as she walked by. She took a liking to Starkindler, the result of this being how quickly there relationship flourished. When he was 25 the current leader, Judas, requested his presence at his home. The fae stated how he was growing old, his duties becoming difficult to accomplish. He offered Starkindler his position as leader. Empathetic towards Judas, he accepted the position. This news was widely accepted by the clan - dragons pedging to support him. He had no knowledge of how to lead, so he eventually reqested Luna to keep order among the clan, stating that his interests lied elsewhere.
