Rayd is cunning and swift, the perfect attributes for the leader of his clan. He is a hardworking individual who will not rest until he is positive that his everyone in his clan is safe, happy, and healthy. As leader of the clan, Rayd spends most if not all of his time tending to clan needs whether it be foraging for food and medicines, fighting off enemy dragons and monsters, or deciding who will honor the clan by serving under the great Flamecaller. When he's not performing his duties as leader, you can find him playing with the hatchlings of his clan. He treats every single one of them as if they were his own child, even though they may not even be blood related. Rayd believes that hatchlings who play games and have fun will grow up to be stronger, healthier, and happier than those who don't. So he makes it his duty to play with them everyday.

Rayd may be strong and quick, but he is also still quite small. In battle his strategy is to out maneuver his opponents and delivering swift attacks to their weak points before retreating to put distance between them and repeating the assault. He is very wary of incoming attacks as he is not built to take hits and an direct attack could do some serious damage. To make up for his small stature, he wears the bones of his enemies to intimidate would be attackers.
