As a hatchling, Felantys had watched his mother, a seasoned warrior, train for battle almost every day. Even at that age, he had admired her devotion to her clan and her willingness to sacrifice everything to protect them, even her own life if necessary. As soon as he was old enough, Felantys asked to be trained by Esper, and she agreed. He stayed with his birth clan for a year, learning everything he could from his mother and the other female warriors, watching in awe when they fought together in perfect harmony. When the time came for him to leave his birthclan and find a new clan to call home, Felantys was more emotional than he expected, and yet, he knew it was time to move on. So began his search for a clan he would call home, and dragons he would be honored to protect...
