Acanthia

Acanthia is the founder of the clan; this all began when she was foraging for herbs in the labyrinth and stumbled across a wounded Tundra gatherer. It took some convincing on both sides that neither meant any harm. The Tundra looked intimidating, and being in pain, he had a hard time calming down enough to think clearly about the large stranger in front of him. But, in the end, Acanthia won him over and tended his injuries. He turned out to be quite a sweetheart behind the tough exterior. They settled together, and new dragons joined the pair. More hunters, gatherers, some new healers, and even some knights and courtiers. After some time passed, Bronte disappeared on a hunting trip; Acanthia feared he was gone forever. Until a few months later, he reappeared wearing apparel that made him look even fiercer than before, but she knew his eyes. He explained that he had gotten lost on his hunting, and the Gladekeeper found him, but she sent him on an expedition before he could return home. Whatever the story, Acanthia was glad to have him home.
