Opal is full of pride, honor, and justice. As the Scaleguard General, Opal leads the clans Scaleguard militaries to defend the clan from the dangers of the abiding boneyard. Opal is the head of the Scaleguard military, elite soldier in the Scaleguard force, and the representative of the clan. He represents all of the dragons within the clan, and also represents the military force. This kind of honor is rare and great, but it also comes with great pressure. A single misstep can lead to the disgrace of the clan, and his pride.

The Scaleguard General is the head of most of the military within the clan, leading armies of dragons into battle, developing tactics and strategies, deploying soldiers, and is the one responsible for selecting exaltations to the Plaguebringer. Not only military aspects and roles are assigned to the Scaleguard General, but also diplomatic ones. The Scaleguard General is also the representative and core diplomat, for any matters the Clan Leader cannot attend to, between clans and factions.
