Ocularis was born during an unusual event in the Clan of Singing Blood. A surge of plague energy which resulted in increased fertility among certain dragons, blessed and favored by the Plaguebringer. The skinless and flayed and bloodied were uplifted. Ocularis was the culmination of this elemental event.

Parentage

His father was one of the Queen's favorites - a holy dragon of congealed blood and plasma and bone. Lyrium is the priest who oversees the Bloodsinger's rituals and ceremonies. His mother is the King's most powerful pet, a terror of claws and spines and Host of the Stinging Swarm.
