Amber met a longneck scholar in the ghostlight ruins while questing for information, whom accompanied her to bring back various tomes and texts to research. The most promising is currently a battered book of fables, which the scholar described as containing a dark tale about a possessed dragon. A dragon's sibling was slain by her mate after he was "possessed" by a mysterious black-scaled Snapper, and he attempted to possess their own hatchlings as well. This tale had resembled what little she has patched together about the hivemind so far, so looking for the original article has promise for potentially curing the strange fae hatchling Fog brought home this month. If this hatchling really is a drone, it is dangerous, and may need to be culled if it cannot be cured. She truly hopes it never comes to that.
