Oh, Pharmakon, my beloved. She comes with a ton of lore so tighten your screws, lads, and here we go.
People tend not to grasp their real influence in the world. They've been around for "years and years!" which is to say, around the beginning of the second age, one of the first pseudo-dragons to emerge. She, and a few others of her calibre, were made by a group of magi, in the image of the old gods of the pillar. Sick of her life of servitude, she staged a rebellion against her creators, and convinced the others to stand up and fight. It was a massacre. The rest of the pseudo-dragons were slaughtered ruthlessly with elemental magic; jagged sheets of icebergs piercing between scales, roiling flames of scarlet melting limbs together, and vast swathes of earth rising up and swallowing the unfortunate souls.
