The Start of the Doc line.

GOATmother paired with Kale and produced 3 offspring, one of which was dubbed Excinctacitum.

Excinctacitum has both Primary and Secondary Gene correct, and a Primary colour of Jungle, 1 off of Hunter.

Munty and Pttack, the other two of the clutch, and since left home.


A few days of bumbling aorund and forgetting genders are a thing later, I have acquired a mate for Excintacitum in hopes that it will produce a closer secondary colour.

holy crap it worked.

The eggs are hatched! 1 of the three had a closer colour, so is retained and named "Spore". The other two are on the AH and if not brought, will be exalted.


Herbisimilor has the exact needed colours and rarer genes, Stayna and Kuro has closer colours, maybe breed with each other if needed. Kuro's Basic Tertiary Gene may be useful.

Nocys and Stayna have the tertiary colours needed to get Lead, albeit a huge range. But it's a start. Unless I get very lucky with genes, I'll most likely have to buy a gene scroll. Glowtail on Doc is very much optional, but not as option as Opal was since ****** metal tail yo.

Kusaki purchased due to their rare genes and close Tertiary colour. In the Snooze Corner for now until I figure out how exactly to use them.



Pairing these two when I have lair space to get a closer Tert colour.
Eggs hatched: 1 has mauve tert but is a female. named Bud. other two are AH, along with Kusaki and Enes.

Dugyfi has been purchased with Eggplant Tert, hopefully I can use this to breed with Herbi's and Kusa's kid Spore for a chance of lead a lead end. Snooze cornered until needed.

2 eggs hatched, one with spruce tert. Closer, but alas, not compatible with Bud to get the correct half of the colour wheel. He has been named "Squish" and Snooze Cornered for now along with his sister, who is most likely a soup ingredient.

However, I found a fodder dragon that had rare genes, perfect for breeding, and great colours, who is able to breed with Bud for the right colour wheel side. Woo! Welcome to the dogpile of a family tree, Aurora. Just gotta... wait for him to mature... any day now...



Maybe this one will get a good colour. I'm getting closer, maybe soon I'll be in the final stretch.

After hatching, the two eggs gave one good Bab that was the exact opposite gender of what I needed. Guh. Aquired a new dragon, and I'm beginning to wonder if I would be able to breed out a doc just from the ones I've been buying. Kusaki, Aurora, Darkstar...

Currently plan to breed Darkstar and Squish. Browner wings, bluer tert, maybe female, another step in the convoluted family forest. It's lucky I have patience.

And finally, After a few months and much breeding later, I have a pair that can produce a Doc.



Theoretically. It feels good to finally be able to get rid of all the unneeded dragons, despite me having become attached to a few of them...

Lead has been aquired. Unfortunately the wings are the one colour I'm struggling to work with. However, theoretically, I have Doc.



Tarnish instead of Umber wings. Slightly darker and I'd have closed this project as complete immediately. I'm thinking I might work on story in this Dragon, while scouring FR diligently for any other Dragon that I could theoretically mate to make a better one. He's remaining Unnamed for now. And I can train and yeet the rest. Woot!

After... Gawd, 6 months?, gene changes on the mother to increase the chances after 3 nestings and 38 Hatchlings not including Doc's nestmates, which add a further 2...



He finally arrived!



Final Plan for comparison. Secondary changed from Umber to Clay, but honestly it kinda looks better. with a custom UMA and a slapped on glowtail Doc is the creeper (dragon?) Cyborg we know and love
