Uh-oh, looks like this fragrant magician wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, we'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread here, or this rest hub, if you don’t want another traveler in return from the thread. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it. Daydream was born with the same rare skin condition as her father was - a sheath of seeds covers her skin, threatening to weigh her down with their bloom. Unlike her father, however, her seeds have never once bloomed, nor do they grow internally. She reckons that it was a bit irresponsible for her father to have children at all - but it looks like luck was on her side regardless. Daydream makes a living for herself by producing magically-enhanced soaps that influence dragons' dreams. Each bar is combined with sweet scents and monster parts (one for the effect it will produce, one to mask the otherwise horrible scent - guess which does which) to particularly affect a dragon's sleeping mind. She's narrowed down the magic to such precise dreams - dreams of loved ones passed, dreams of past loves, dreams where one fights giant sea monsters while wearing nothing more than a robe - that she has started to take high-price commissions from the clans she finds herself staying in on her travels. When she is not selling, she is seeking ingredients for her creations. While she is no fighter, she is rather resourceful and often scavenges what dragon hunting parties leave behind for her work. (May 5, 2020) Daydream was getting tired by all the moving and was looking around for a spot to rest her wings. She collapsed exhausted on the cold damp grass. Something in the foggy distance caught her eye, they appear to be long bright red vines. She examined a bit more, suddenly she was startled by movement. She knew it could be dangerous to get any closer but she wanted to make sure she was safe for the rest of the evening. Slowly maker her way, step by step, wide purple eyes flashed open between the vines, staring at her own. She wasn't sure what to do, she couldn't run, her bones where aching yet, she stood there surprised. "Who are you?" the purple eyed dragon asked with a rather warm tone. Daydream did not answer. The mysterious dragon edged out of the vines getting closer to Daydream, revealing more of what she looked like. A dark red dragon with a gold vine pattern on her neck fully emerged from the thick fog. "It's dangerous out here, you don't look like a harm, why don't you come and stay with my clan for a while?" Daydream was trying to refuse the dragons offer in a polite way when yet another movement caught her eye. This time a more dark figure with what appeared to be blue sparkling patches that gleamed through the fog, creeping out of the vines very quickly. Daydream backed away slowly. The dragon stopped by the already discovered one. "Oh, don't worry about him, he's not a harm." A gentle tone in the red dragons voice seemed to make Daydream feel safer. "You should come with us, it's safer inside" The same dragons eyes looked at Daydreams eyes. "You're a Fae? We have a couple other Faes that would be so excited to meet you!" Daydream thought about all the outcomes if she decided to go with the two dragons, she had a feeling they wouldn't leave her alone. She decided to go with them. On the small walk to the unknown clan, she learned the names of the two dragons she had met, Umbra was the red Imperial dragon that greeted any newcomers to the clan. The other who had not spoke yet was a dark spiral with blue gem-like patches named Ragie... Daydream has arrived to HJDragon's clan! Two dragons by the name of Umbra and Ragie welcome her. None of the other dragons from the clan know about her arrival yet but have always wanted to meet another traveling dragon, it should be a wonderful surprise! After a little sleep Daydream was awoken by Ragie, he asked if she was ready to meet the rest of the clan. She was more than ready, she was excited to meet new faces!
