Biography

Israfil is known as the trumpeter, who will blow his horn when the Day of Ressurection comes. Often described are being huge and hairy, Israfil''s body "is covered with mouths and tongues and [...] reaches from the seventh heaven to the throne of God. One wing protects his body, another shields him from God, while the other two extend east and west. He is overcome by sorrow and tears three times every day and every night at the sight of Hell." Mostly, he stands around the lair with a stern expression on his face. Of the three "angels," Israfil is most likely to force a "demon" to stand down or stop their mischief.
