Havoc

At one of the deepest levels of a Gaoler prison, situated neatly in the lowest depths, two wyverns shift. It is uncertain what caused the sudden thaw that woke them, but these two monstrosities have been kept trapped for perhaps centuries; the current generation of Gaoler guards doesn't even have records of their existence.

But instead of seeking escape or revenge, they lay a clutch of eggs. And another. And another. Their offspring, small and quick, use stealth and cunning to slip past the guards and move upward. The offspring wyverns sometimes catch a lucky break and make an escape into the open air, taking to the sky with dark wings and flying far to spread their corruption to all areas of the continent.

Their parents, however? Bedlam and Furor stay nested within the prison, unnoticed for now, making their escape through genetics alone.
