"There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds." 		________
___ Gaumr's early life was not ideal, nor was it particularly pleasant, but he dealt with it well enough— at least by his own estimates. Honestly, considering the absolute trauma of a truly Tragic Backstory, it was quite impressive how he managed to drag himself along as if nothing had happened. Most dragons assumed he was a well-adjusted, simple dragon from a mediocre background, though a bit dull.

He was, however, always quite haunted by the absolutely terrible vibes of everything and hadn't relaxed since he couldn't even remember.

Of course, like any other dragon (he thought), Gaumr suppressed that whole nonsense quite efficiently. Shove it into a box, lock it away, and pretend it doesn't exist. It took him an embarrassing amount of years to realize that, apparently, those 'bad vibes' were moreso severe psychological distress and Gaumr was in desperate need of the therapy he'd gleefully denied himself for years.

But... admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery, right?
