WIP WIP old words that need to be refreshed but that's more cells


Most days she was far from her newfound clan. Either taking survey of the land or delivering messages to secretly spied on neighbors, she rarely found time to rest. It made it all the sweeter when she was able to return however. Such frequent leaves made it difficult to spend time with her fellow clan mates, yet she grew rather close to one of the mirror huntresses over the years. Perhaps this, combined with her frequent departures, was the reason why she never took on a mate or why she never bothered with the idea of clutches of her own.

When more and more of her fellow scouts started to vanish upon crossing the territory to the lands of Nature, rumors began. At first, they were wisps on the wind. They had rarely any detail, instead being focused on the feud that the two flights had, and reasoned that their Plague scouts were purposely hunted out of spite by Nature warriors.

However... soon a survivor managed to return. One of their wings were gone, torn out by some mystery assailant, and the loss of blood made the unfortunate tundra near delirious.

He spoke of a great ruins; a seemingly abandoned cluster of buildings which could prove great use to them. Spoke of hopes to finding new weapons and armor, all the better protect the clan... or so he said. The tundra babbled on about how he ventured forth only to find a gruesome display of dragon statues of all breeds. About how one of them ((((LINK)))) even called for him! He even described his downfall about how he had foolishly raced forward to challenge the potential threat only to have another ((((LINK)))) pounce and gouge out his wing.

While the rest of their clan chattered quickly between themselves about how it could have been a camouflaged ambush, Tarmoendu had... doubts.
