The songbird of the night, the wretched mistress of the shadow, and a dabbler of dark magic. Andromeda has spent her entire life behind closed doors, dabbling in what many would consider to be horrible magic. So wretched was this magic, that it caused an uproar within the clan of the light. Ostracized and hated by her clan, Andromeda retreated further on herself. Accompanied only by her beloved mate, Delphinus, Andromeda continued her reach for power, filled with only longing for power no one else had. Through her grabs for power, she almost shattered the sacred artifact given directly from the patron. The magic she had summoned was barely deflected by the shields meant to protect it, destroying the shields and leaving the gift from the gods untouched. With her hand forced, her younger sister, Helios, had no choice but to exile her from the clan. She pleaded with Andromeda to understand, for it was only a twenty-year sentence, but Andromeda couldn’t find it in herself to care. With Delphinus in tow, the two retreated to the land of shadow.
Although, the crimes that she committed would not be forgotten. Two unruly members of the tribe, Xena and Sprig, felt that her punishment was not enough for the crime. The two tracked the lovers, trampling on their lands. They ambushed the sorceress and threw her into the depths of the sea, leaving her to the mercy of the Tidelord. The woman would not so easily be felled. With her last strength, she flung herself from the icy waters and onto the scorching lands of magma. With a temperament as fiery as the lava below her feet, she began recruiting mercenaries and sellswords alike. With a crew in tow, she began to plan, beginning a long journey back to her lands and stumbling upon a man who thought her dead. She and Delphinus reunited, although she would not fill him in on the events that transpired. And her plot to dethrone her sister, and possibly even the Lightweaver themself, had begun.

With the magic acquired by the joint efforts of her mercenaries, Andromeda put her plan into action. Taking advantage of the steep cliff their clan had taken refuge in, Andromeda shattered the unstable supports below. With a smile, she brought the whole clan down into the depths that she was thrown into long ago. Much to her displeasure, her sister would not give up so easily, taking the refugees of the attack and fleeing. With the bond to the Lightweaver severed, Andromeda took her place as the head of the clan. With no one to stop her, she finally turned her gaze to a far more significant target: The Lightweaver.
