Biography

@digilici claim
I headcanon that Valentina was initially crafted with rose quartz and skilled claws.
A dedicated carver put their mind to a project far more ambitious than any other dragon sought to attempt: they wished to create a dragon out of stone, but did not intend to stop there. They wanted to bring their statue to life.
They spoke to mage after mage, sculptor after sculptor, and was eventually left with all the knowledge necessary to pull off this feat - despite countless dragons warning them of the risks. Even so, they persisted, and soon their journey began.
After years of perfecting the statue, slaving over the carving and replacing any chipped stones with globs of shimmering paste decorated in petals and crystal, she was complete.
They only saw it fit to name their creation after the day celebrating love, and so they settled on "Valentina."
The spells following her creation did not take long to complete. Within the week, the craftsman's statue was alive, breathing in the same air as themself.
Upon breaking free from her enchanting barricades, one would not have been mistaken to compare Valentina's mannerisms to those of a hatchling. She was curious, enamoured by life and its wonders (albeit, from the confines of her creator's abode). She spent her days learning about the outside world from the inside of her home, learning the skills of reading and writing, falling in love with poetry and literature.
After another year of preparation, Valentina's creator thought it time to send her into the world of Sorneith. And so, she left the careful watch of the craftsman and stumbled into the Tangled Wood. Lost and afraid, she eventually fell into the talons of a particularly welcoming band of dragons. They allowed her into their clan with open arms and took care of her like she was one of their own - because now, she was.
Valentina faced challenges, being born of stone and not hatched like her counterparts. She struggled with managing the overwhelming emotions brought over her coming into this new world, but she has found home, and loves her clanmates and newfound company dearly. They have helped her through countless hardships, and will assist her through countless more.
