RIVER
meaning: Stream Of Water That Flows To The Sea

River is a fierce dragon. She often doesn’t have time for luxuries such as dressing up or
making small talk with the other dragons. She prefers to spend her time doing something useful for her clan- such as gathering, working with Baldwin, and fighting in the coliseum. Although she often isn’t able to go to the coliseum and fight, she would prefer to do that than sit around and make small talk while the small hatchlings play around not far away. To her, there is nothing more unsatisfying than doing nothing of use to her clan.

River has two children, Thistle and Thorn, that she loves dearly. Both have gone on to
serve the Earthshaker, and River couldn’t be more proud. She isn’t sure if their father agrees with her, but frankly, she doesn’t care. She loves her child and is proud that they found their own path, even if she is now unable to see them. They hold a place in her heart, and they were the only dragons she could stand doing nothing with. She hopes to have more children to love and raise, and know that- if she does- she’ll always be proud of them.

River- when she isn’t in the coliseum, with Baldwin, or gather -spends time with her familiar, a Ruffletail Tadhop. They are one of the only “cute” creatures or things that she actually enjoys being around. More often than not, she would be disgusted by anything that could be considered “cute.” However, her little Tadhop melts her heart and she could never be disgusted with them. The Tadhop balances her own brass personality with its sweet and kind nature- when they aren’t messed with, that is. The true reason she adores her familiar is because of what they truly are like when riled up. They have a horrible bloodlust when angered, and River always cheers them on when another creature decides to mess with them. Just because they’re cute doesn’t make them any less deadly.

River loves her clan, she honestly does, but they can grate on her nerves. She’s easily
angered by demeaning tones or comments, and her clan knows this. Despite this, certain dragons will berate her and tell her that she should stay at the nests. This can cause her to go into a blind rage, and- although she never has-she could very well snap and attack the other dragons in her clan. They all know this, so many leave her be, but some will continue to harass and bother her. She has gotten to the point where she will ignore and avoid those dragons.

Despite the trials, she truly does love her clan. When she had ventured off to find a
clan of her own, she had never expected to find one as intricate as she did. There are hardships, fights, arguments, and obvious disagreements, but she adores and loves them dearly, in her own way. She adores providing and protecting her clan whenever she can, despite certain dragons agitating her. However, if they didn’t, it wouldn’t be her clan, the can she has grown to love and adore more than anything. She never thought she’d be so fortunate as to find this beautiful home.
