Biography
Kyoko Sakura
"If you are just living for your own sake, it's all up to you. No hard feelings. No regrets."

A seemingly rough and selfish ridgeback that currently resides in the Viridian Labyrinth. Kyoko gives off a self absorbed, rude, and stubborn aura. She’s also seemingly a very violent dragon, willing to fight anyone that gets in her way. While she’s certainly stubborn, underneath all those rugged layers around her she’s actually a very kind dragon.

Previously, Kyoko lived in the Scarred Wasteland along with her parents and her little sister, Momo. Kyoko’s father was a plague cleric that preached the ideals of the Plaguebringer, however some of what he preached was slightly different from the standard viewpoints of the Plaguebringer and this was viewed by other dragons as being very radical. Many dragons left their place of worship and Kyoko’s family suffered from this, getting less money to feed themselves. In order to help her family and her father gain his followers back, Kyoko used her magic so that they would be willing to listen to her father’s teachings. This does not bode well when Kyoko’s father finds out about this. He spirals and sets their lair on fire, killing Kyoko’s sister and mother, and then kills himself.

At the time Kyoko was close friends and a working partner with the imperial, Mami. They would travel across Sornieth together when they could helping others and fighting against the Beastclan hordes. Kyoko believed in the same ideals as Mami and wanted her to teach her everything she knew. After the fire, Kyoko’s ideals changed and she believed it was best to fight for herself as fighting for others would only end in pain. This change in ideals caused a rift between her and Mami, leading to a fight where the two ultimately separated.

After a while, Kyoko traveled back to the Viridian Labyrinth due to an increase in Beastclan hordes, other encroaching flights and the promise of rewards in fighting them. She meets up with the pearlcatcher, Sayaka and they butt heads for a long period of time due to Sayaka’s strong sense of justice. She’s very similar to Kyoko before the fire and Kyoko knows this and doesn’t want her to get hurt like she did. Though while they don’t end up fully agreeing on their ideals, they do come to an understanding with one another, however this was after a plethora of fights.

Kyoko is still not on the best of terms with Mami and she definitely wants to repair the relationship that they have, so that they can be friends again. She’s very appreciative of Nagisa whose helping her on the matter.
