Uh-oh, looks like this rebellious spiral wandered a little too far from his home lair (LaurelsAndMoss, 442963), and now he's off to see the world! Leaving Home: Both his parents were seasoned travelers, so it was only natural that Alorn would begin to dream about that kind of life. Eager to set out as soon as he could fly, his mother made it clear that she wanted him to stay until he was older. His father agreed, but he didn't seem to take his mate's wishes very seriously. After a joke that was misinterpreted as approval for him to leave, Alorn set out away from the Clan of Laurels and Moss without consulting either of his parents or the leader, which was customary for the clan. Setting his eyes towards the horizon, he did not once think of his parents. He only thought about what lied ahead.

The Floating Town: Alorn arrived at Clan Driftisle as a hatchling, and with there not being an inn built yet, the townspeople decided he would have to stay with one of them. The clan's medic, Ginseng, decided that he would take Alorn in, as he needed help tending his greenhouse. While there, he befriended the tortoise that often loitered there.

Rainbow Waters: As Alorn traveled with his new companion, he came across an area of the inland sea that looked like a million dancing rainbows. As he was splashing and squealing in this new discovery an Imperial rose out of the water. Concerned that such a young dragon was wandering the realms, the Imperial named Izar took him into Clan Rose. Although Alorn liked the clan well enough he preferred to spend all his time with Izar splashing in the water and swimming with the fish. Sometimes he would visit Edur when the dragon would tolerate him. Alorn loved chasing the snowflakes that surrounded the Master Oracle and was fascinated by the dragon's unnatural frostiness. As the days went by, Alorn started to become bored. Playing in the water and swimming with the fish was not such a novel thing anymore. He wanted to do more, see more. He wanted to be just like his traveler parents. So one evening, when Izar wasn't looking, Alorn left. Though he was sad to leave his friend and mentor so suddenly, he knew he had to continue on his journey.
