Biography
Valerie....has been through hell and back
-Her first family consisted of her sons, mate, father, her sister and niece. All of them were lost horrifically and cruelly. Hateful dragons who only wanted to cause harm tortured and kept her family prisoner. One-by-one she listened to her family die until her father sacrificed himself to make sure she escaped. But that wasn't the end.
-She snuck back to discover one of her worst tormentors had a family of her own. A family she came home to every night after her crimes. Crimes which took away Valerie's own children. Valerie, consumed and mad with grief and hatred, killed them in turn and left to gather more like her. Ones touched by rage and misery. Her small army became menace and near unstoppable. She was known as a ruthless being of blood and resentment. Only after she was finally bested by a young hero looking to put an end to her vengeful carnage did she finally put down her claws of war. Her only follower left from her destroyed army was her new mate, Searlus. The final battle took everything, including her sight.
-Blind, numb, and only the company of her husband (her last living family); Valerie finally had the one thing she had needed after all this hate and death: Time to reflect. Her moments with her first family. How she lost them. The hateful creatures that took them from her. How she became a creature of hate herself. How so many deserved her wrath but so many more did not. The children of her previous captor certainly did not, no more than her own did. Slowly she let go of her hate.
-Searlus was killed shortly after their first clutch of eggs hatched. She was left only with their daughter, Thistle. Almost right after she was confronted with a dragon made of Shade and demonic energy. Their battle, despite her having no sight, lasted until a dirty blow landed on her for the last time. Valerie had been bested but her daughter had been whisked away to safety just in time.
-Valerie lived most of her life sating her grief and madness. She accepted her death knowing that her daughter was safe with a dragon who would raise her well and keep her safe.
