Artemis

Artemis Personality: Also known as the "Starspeaker", Artemis is a shy and mysterious dragon. Despite her quietness, she is able to silence rooms with her confidence.

Because she was born blind, Artemis was shunned by her flight. They didn’t consider her to be a true Child of the Arcanist. How could one behold the wonder of the cosmos if they could not see?

Her clan thought she was a curse, a sign that The Arcanist was disappointed in them. They cast the hatchling into the sea, beliving they were rid of her for good. The clan kicked her parents out too, for good measure. Artemis’ clan was quite shocked when they found her, very much alive, on the shore the next morning. Instead of throwing her back into the water, her clan accepted her survival as proof the curse was lifted and took Artemis back to the clan’s lair.

Artemis was raised alongside the clan’s other hatchlings, but wasn't given the same amount of opportunities or respect from her clanmates.


She was often assigned the hardest chores and then punished when she wasn’t able to do them properly. Eventually, her clan got bored of mocking her and sold her to a traveling circus.
