When I first started playing FR, the breeds in my lair were... shall we say, "limited." I basically liked Skydancers and Imps and Spirals best, and had a few Wildclaws on the side. In that respect, taking a break (however unintentional) might have been for the best, because once I came back, I fell in love with so many diverse dragon designs!

The huge variety of new genes probably helped as well. Python and Noxtide and Ghost were all quite new to me still, and as I played around in the Scrying Workshop to make a vaporwave-inspired dragon, somehow it all just looked better on Ridgebacks to me than any other breed.
