Iron Ore
Living in a clan that was predominantly non-fae was a challenge for young Jazz, given the differences in communication between dragonkind as they struggled with emoting verbally, as there's no instinctive need to when their emotions are so readily visible in the tiniest of movements on their body. Due to this, it is not uncommon to see Jazz emote with the aid of magic - far easier to convince that a deadpan "that's good" is genuine when they call shadows to dance around them in excitement that, far more obvious to non-fae than the way Jazz twitches their frills to show they're having a good time.

Jazz has been one of Nyina's close confidants since the early days of her clan, despite initial difficulties in communication, as they proved themselves incredibly valuable to Ny's clan as they were an excellent gatherer and brilliant inventor - most notably mastering their scrapmetal tracker, "Rusty", who they'd take out into the wastes to sniff out essential ores and other valuable items. It's still not terribly uncommon to see Jazz riding on their tracker's head rather than flying, scouting ahead and doing everyday tasks for the teahouse.

They sell their trinkets at the teahouse when the clan settle down for an extended period of time, earning some extra treasure for their clan. Do feel free to haggle if you're interested in any of the wares that Jazz offers, but be prepared for some difficulties in establishing how they feel about potential counteroffers to their prices. There are upsides to being a difficult dragon to read, after all.

n/b: Jazz is one of the few dragons who remained entirely unchanged personality and background-wise since I hatched them
