Caramel

||The Hard Head||



Caramel lives with Flossy on a neighbouring island to the lair, the second head of the menagerie operation. Caramel isn’t as hands on with the beasts like Flossy, but she speaks to them a lot. She spends about 80% of her time just talking to all of those in her care while going about her business. While Flossy will fuss them and baby talk them, she tends to lean more towards a teacher talking to naughty students. You’d think that the beasts wouldn’t like her as much because of this approach but it actually makes her the one to break up most of the fights, which happen very rarely thankfully, but most scrapes are solved just by her appearing on the scene and not even having to do anything.

If any incidences that break out require a little more muscle then her familiar is always there for back up. The mith is often chilling in various locations around the island, never really seeming up to much. Whenever she is needed Caramel let’s off a beacon of light which makes her come zooming over. It sometimes helps having another beast on the scene for a more personal touch. Flossy likes to tease her over the fact a light flight, sweater loving dragon is best friends with a mith but it rarely phases her, she often quips back about sending her to eat some of his outfit as a change from sweaters and that keeps him quiet for a bit… Never for long though.

Her main duties include checking which familiars aren’t been seen to that day and getting them fed and watered and making sure all the various habitats are up to snuff and there aren’t any issues. She does have a deceptively large amount of muscle for a skydancer but of course her familiar does help out here and there. In her downtime of an evening though she enjoys a bit of crafting. Sometimes in the colder months you might find various familiars with little knitted booties or hats to keep them warm, while she won’t admit to it everyone knows that they’re her handiwork.
