Born as "Regina Calvariae Locus" she has always been destined for great things. Terrible, sure, but great nonetheless. Her name, identical to every other female dragon in power in her family, holds fear in the hearts of those who know the myths and legends of her ancestry. She was raised in a matriarchal society, surrounded by female relatives who held her in high esteem, knowing she would do amazing and wondrous things for their Clan Name.

And she hated it. She hated being held to such high standards, hated being doted on and feared simultaneously by male dragons who would otherwise be looking to court her. She hated her life as a princess. And so she fled, she fled her past, took a new name, took a familiar from her family's hoard and left, looking for a new life in the wilds of the Scarred Wasteland, far from the Wyrmwound and Rotrock Rim.

She can't outrun her past forever though, her bloodlust is catching up to her and the urge to claw and maim and disembowel is getting stronger and stronger as time goes by. She hoped changing her name would help but it's done nothing to quell this urge to hurt that is inside of her. Thankfully Tevris, the only dragon who followed her, and who has always seen her as a friend, is there to keep her stable and calm. But even he cannot completely stop the bloodlust inside her.

She has set her sights onto a small clan on the edge of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Just near her own little home with Tevris, and she wants to hurt them. She wants to fight with them and they've done nothing to her. But the darkness inside her is threatening to overwhelm her and she's not as strong as she thinks she is.

"And her teeth as sharp as blades, will come in the night, rending flesh from bone as she steals that which is not hers. Both in blood and in life. She will be the darkness that consumes friend and foe. The ocean will turn red with the blood of her enemies. But she has a downfall. She can be stopped. However it will take a sacrifice, greater than any dragon can imagine, though no dragon truly knows what that sacrifice is. Perhaps it is love, or loyalty, but just as her mother before her she can be stopped."

"Or perhaps it is none of these things, perhaps the downfall of the Queen of Skulls will be nothing more than her sins. Her lust for power, for wealth, and her recklessness when it comes to treasures. Maybe her envy of other dragons, with their clans and close knit groups. Or maybe just good old fashioned greed. But she knows the secrets of her family and there is a reason her familiar is a phoenix. Maybe it is a myth, maybe she really isn't immortal like the legends say, maybe her mother, and her mother's mother, really were truly destroyed, maybe it's all for show and to keep up appearances."
