A young, starving spiral got lost in the frozen wilderness. She came across two Wildclaws, the first one as dark as the night, and the other bright as frozen snow. She was too weak to hide, so she approached in order to seek help. She was surprised that those dragons weren't as "wild" as she thought. They gave her some of their freshly killed prey, but then trailed of into the dark forest. She decided to follow them as their presence felt eerie.

As she followed, she looked behind to see a strange figure appear. It growled something and threw a splash potion onto her. She didn't managed to avoid it, and it splashed onto her slim body. Every step felt heavier, and finally she collapsed. She let out a high pitched screech in fear, which alarmed the wildclaws. They turned around in confusion, their eyes widened as they saw the small spiral being overtaken by a toxin that cracked her scales open, revealing the flesh underneath.

They managed to get to the spiral without name, just in time to see a BeastClan member disappear into a cloud of foul smelling dust, leaving no way to track him. They take the spiral and rush back to their lair, where an elderly medic takes care of her. His skin is pale, which makes his blue wings even brighter. He prepared a bath for the spiral, they need to get the toxin off her scales before it's too late.

After some intensive hours, the spiral is conscious again. But her body felt strange. She was shocked as she saw her reflection in a nearby mirror. Her scales... her pattern... Where once her sturdy small speckled scales were, are now smooth large iridescent scales. Furthermore, her whole body was overtaken by golden scar tissue, due to the toxin breaking down the scales. The elderly medic noticed she woke up, and speaks to her. She barely survived but they managed to soak her in golden water for enough time to heal the wounds and retrieve the toxins.

The Wildclaws were notified about her consciousness, and promptly arrived. They introduce themselves as Yin and Yang, two very old souls who takes care to keep everything balanced. They may seem young, but that's because they are allowed to reincarnate under Icewarden's approval.

They gave the spiral her name, Kintsugi, which means "golden joinery" in Japanese. She wasn't upset to have a reference to her assault, because she started to like her new look. She thinks she is very beautiful, which gave her a lot of self-esteem. She was adopted by Yin, who took care of her like it was her own daughter.
