Biography

Born from the fire, marked by the fire. Even though Vulcan ended up in a Nature clan, his fascination for the fire never dialed down even one bit. In fact, it might have grown.

For a start, being away from the fire domain, everything felt really cold to Vulcan. How could they be so fine with all that? He always had a light winter coat on, just to endure the absence of the heat he was used to. But mostly, he missed the fire dancing...

Just like the skydancers of the wind, the ones from the fire had a special dance. The sleek dance, inspired by the way the fire itself danced, was a marvel to watch and do. He didn't stay home again to perfect it, but ever since he'd come to this clan, he'd decided to give it his best to perfect it... Too bad it was very hard.

He didn't just graze his own feathers and fur with fire sometimes... he grazed others too. And Virena had it worse. She loved dancing and she was really trying to make them both work together... But every time she tried to dance with him he would hurt her. Kai's healing was a bless, really. But that couldn't go on... so he ended up training alone, mainly. It wasn't meant to be and he loved the fire too much to give it up for her.

Then, there was Ella. He was the one to find her and she was the one who was so amazed by her beauty that he invited her to the clan. Yet, he just knew there was nothing there even then. She was pretty, but not quite his type. And he definitely was not her type, she barely looked at him. But he would make it happen (as a friend), she just had some baggage.

For now, he couldn't abandon Virena. Sure he would keep looking for a partner, but while he didn't find any, he would keep her company... and try not to burn her.


Vulcan thought it would take long for him to find the perfect mate he was looking for. After all, she had to be perfect. He would love to have someone touch by fire like he himself and someone who knew how to dance like a true Skydancer of the fire tribes, so she had to have lived there for at least a while... And he really thought it would take him a while to find such an specific girl.

On the other hand, all the girls in the clan were pushing him to find a new mate already... Though some of this rush seemed to be so Virena could find another mate for herself too, it didn't feel like that was all. The news that a new member of the family would be chosen seemed to make them all anxious.

So he kept looking. Way more than he would for himself. He went to the market, he asked around, he even put a notice asking for volunteers. But no one seemed quite enough. Though.... there was someone quite enticing from he always kept coming back to. Until he gave in and chose her.

Wisp wasn't your tradicional fire girl. But for the expert eye, she was way more than that. While fire is usually represented by the orange color, when you see a blue fire, it means it's just that much hotter in temperature. And, while vulcan loved his vulcanic colors, her blue fire and a matching attitude just won him over time. He was actually glad he didn't go with his first choice when he could have her.... she was more of a halloween girl than a fire girl.

He just didn't know how much work she would give him... and how much he would grow to like it.
