  • Eldritch god as old as the oceans, created by the torrent of the sea during its birth
  • She spent years watching the seas settle and grow, helping to ensure life in the ocean would thrive
  • Derya is credited for the creation of the leviathans of the deep and sirens that haunt the shores, having created them long before dragonkind existed
  • As the world settled into its new balance Derya was put to rest, disappearing into the deepest part of the ocean, only to be awoken when the ocean called her once more
  • She slept for millennia, and the world had long since forgotten her
    - It was not the ocean or her children that woke her from her slumber, instead it was a rumble that shook the very earth, the appearance of a new, powerful force
  • When Derya rose from her slumber she went to find the source of the power that radiated out and touched her, swimming to a surface she had not seen in eons.
  • Once she reached the shore, she found a great crater in the sand, and in the center was a dragon who radiated that same power that had woken her
  • Since that fateful day upon the beach, Derya and Solani have been practically inseparable, exploring and learning of the world they do not remember together
