The Structure hovers just high up enough now that Ruckus can lie underneath it without making contact. And so she does, using it as shade and as comfort, all her thoughts swept away by the presence of the large lump of flesh and rot. Only whispers and feelings fill her mind now, and even as Mererid comes to lead her away she doesn’t listen.

She must stay.

“Come on, West needs you for something,” the red Fae stammers, visibly nervous around this area of the lair.

“What?” She had heard them very clear, but needed the words to be repeated regardless.

“West—West wants your opinion on something. It’s kind of urgent.”

The words opinion and urgent catch her attention. Of course! She was called for and needed left and right and still she spent hours of her life sitting here. Sometimes, when she momentarily comes to her senses (so to speak), the way she almost obsesses over the Structure becomes silly, if it is even a thought at all.

But her mind will always fill to the brim in time, and she will have to clear it somehow.
