Born and raised in a different land Quem came to shamrock city with he mate at the time, Saffron. Not long after they arrived Saffron left to serve elsewhere and Quem fell in love with another dragon named Gwendolyn. And even though they mutually broke up it didn't hurt him any less when she left to serve another lair. He grew close with a seamstress who worked with him for awhile but she too moved away before anything came of them. After all of this Quem was reluctant to form any new connections past his already small circle, and shut himself up in his tower and poured into his work. It was a couple years before Quem started going out and being more sociable again. He decided to try staying in the other domains for a change of pace, but neither of them really stuck with him like Shamrock did. So, he eventually returned back, and it was on his journey back that he met Narcissus. It took him by surprise how attracted he grew to this silent new dragon, in such a short span of time. Returning to the city with Narcissus, Quem did his best to shut all the thoughts he had out of his head. But, as the two began talking more and being around eachother even he couldn't deny how much he liked Narcissus. It was awful he thought, to feel like a dragonet in love all over again. In his early years Quem was less than liked by his peers. Even as a full grown dragon he struggles to defend himself in verbal altercations and instead jumps to violence, with little control of his emotions. He does take active steps to try and reign in his emotions but he's always felt things more deeply then those around him. |
